Long island house
Located at the southeast of Bermuda’s Great Sound is Long Island, small in size but abundant in natural beauty and unequaled in vantage points.
Owned by Waterfront Properties, Island House has ever been a popular venue for events but did not host its first wedding until 2015. Now, engaged couples are eager to choose the picturesque property as their wedding venue.
Couples are able to accommodate 150 people for a ceremony and reception. Ceremonies are typically hosted on the Western Lawn overlooking Hawkin’s Island, Paradise Lake and the Great Sound, with seated dinner receptions saved for the wider Eastern Lawn or Upper Lawn which faces the Great Sound.
Depending on the number of wedding guests, weather contingency space is available at Harry’s restaurant or couples can elect to tent the lawns.
All wedding contracts include parking for guests on-site at Waterfront Properties.
Island House features endless settings for the perfect photography session, including the island’s small peninsula (equipped with a little lighthouse!) situated on Paradise Lake. In addition to the peninsula are numerous patios, balconies, a rustic arbour and natural surroundings that are just waiting to play host to a bride and groom’s wedding day photos.
